Well, we have Janeway and Chakotay completely single for practically the entire show. Okay, we see them romantically involved with other people in pretty ridiculous situations, by the way (because Voyager was incapable of creating a single decent relationship for either of them), but most of the time they were together, always him with his body pressed against hers, or flirting on the bridge, having dinner just the two of them in a closed and private space… obviously there was a lot of speculation about them dating. Maybe nobody thought it was a serious relationship, exactly, but they thought they were romantically involved. And I'm sure the women of Voyager never tried anything with Chakotay because nobody would dare want the Captain's man 🤣
